Enviromental Pollution

Over the past centuries, we saw the earth's transformation from its construction to nearly destruction. Enviromental pollution overrides the earth's natural resources. Pollution started to affect the earth as early as the first humans set foot to it. It is said that the discovery of fire is the first discovery made by the humans that permits the evolution of enviromental pollution. In ancient times, people would use caves as their houses and set fires near or even inside them. For continuously doing that, carbon deposits filled the caves, the caves' walls were found to have some traces of smoke from bon fires. A great increase in the enviromental pollution was observed after the Second World War.

Enviromental pollution varies from several forms that are responsible for the earth's mass destruction. Air pollution is one of the many forms of environmental pollution that is spread all over the world. An increase from the pollutants like carbon dioxide, CFCs or chlorofluorocarbons, nitrogen oxide, and carbon monoxide, contributes on poisoning the air. The largest and the most common causes of air enviromental pollution are the motor emission from the vehicles which continues to add on the enviromental pollution due to its demand. Smokes from factories and other industrial establishments are also a big factor on polluting the air. Air pollution is one of the enviromental pollutions that damages the ozone layer. The ozone protects us from the direct contact from the sun. The depletion of the ozone results to green house gases that can harm human and lead us to death.

Another form of enviromental Pollution is water pollution. Water pollution is the contamination of the bodies of water and other water sources that may result in many deceases and infections to human health. Not only humans, it can also affect animals and plants and all the organisms that depend on water to live. A sewage system that heads to the see is an example of water pollution. Ships and shipyards are common contributors of enviromental pollution to the water.

Enviromental Pollution

Soil pollution is one of the most known form of enviromental pollution where the soil is damaged mainly by unmanaged human wastes and pesticides sprayed from crops and farmlands. Septic tanks and other storage tanks underground also contribute not only soil pollution but also water pollution. Vapors from the polluted soil can severely affect human health from direct inhalation. Chemicals from the soils that are inhaled can damage major organs.
